ElectroG

Taking back old appliances

According to §7a ElektroG, every manufacturer / importer is obliged to submit a take-back concept to the competent authority for the take-back and disposal of electrical and electronic equipment for which he can credibly demonstrate that it is used exclusively in households other than private households or that such equipment is not normally used in private households.
We have commissioned take-e-way GmbH to do this. The end user who wishes to hand in an old appliance fills in a questionnaire at

on the details of the order.
Further information can be found in the Hersteller-Informationen gemäß §19 a ElektroG3 (PDF).
After approval by us, take-e-way GmbH carries out the take-back and sends the old appliances for preparation for reuse or for treatment and recycling in accordance with § 20 ElektroG.
