The Gefen EXT-DVI-FM500 enables lossless transmission of DVI signals over distances of up to 1500 meters via single-mode or multi-mode fiber. It supports resolutions up to 1920×1200 (UXGA) with built-in EDID programming for fast, error-free synchronization between source and display.
The optical transmission technology provides complete EMI immunity, making it ideal for interference-sensitive environments. The compact transmitter and receiver units are perfect for professional AV installations over long distances. The extender supports DVI 1.0, DDC2B, and offers virtual DDC for maximum compatibility.
